Mac Will Not Allow Me To Partition For Boot Camp

I have Windows 7 installed in boot camp on my 2010 Mac Pro. I'm trying to boot back into OS X and cannot seem to boot back. It's just stuck on the grey screen with the apple logo with the spinning loading icon. I've tried holding down option and I get all 3 options but when I select OS X it will not boot, but it does boot into Windows. Also, I've went to bootcamp options within Windows to make sure it boots to OsX and still no luck.

Boot camp was only allowing me to create a 125gb partition for windows. I accepted that and partitioned the drive in boot camp. Before installing windows I rebooted the Mac OS, went into Disk Utilities and then deleted the windows partition. Now start again and run bootcamp and you will find a lot more space is available for your windows partition. How to Resize Bootcamp Partition

As we know, if you want to resize Mac partition, you can directly turn to the Disk Utility tool, located in /Applications/Utilities. Step 1: Back up all the information on your Windows partition.

Step 2: Delete Windows from your Mac.

• Start up your Mac in OS X.
• Open Disk Utility. (To access the Disk Utility in Mac OS X, just press Command+Space to open Spotlight search, type Disk Utility, and press Enter. You can also click the Launchpad icon on your dock, click the Other folder, and click Disk Utility.)
• Select the Windows disk, click Erase, choose the Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format, and then click the Erase button. (picture is below)

Step 3: Shrink Mac partition to release more free space.

Step 4: Create a new large Windows partition in the free space.

• Select the drive.
• Select the Partition tab
• Click + to add a partition

Step 5: Restore the information you backed up.
